Ansel Adams
Ansel Adams was one of the most popular photographers in the world. He devoted his life to the nature, contributing in a determinate way to the consolidation of the imagined collective idea of wilderness. He was just fourteen when he started to take photos of the park which should become one of his most favorite subjects. In 1920s he met Paul Strand who introduced him the principles of straight photography. Together with Edward Weston, Sonya Noskowiak e Imogen Cunningham he founded f/64. One of his most important pictures is ''Moonlight over Hernandez'' took in New Mexico in 1941. This image is very impressive, Adams managed to show the details of the moon and of the city. Another famous photo is ''Monument Valley'' took in Arizona in 1958, the rock in the foreground and the mountains in the background despite being perfectly aligned with a geometrical logic, appear completely sharp.
